Forest Woods enjoys a superior location and configuration. CDL will be exploring a building of 12- to 13-storey condominium with an estimated of 520 units.
Factors that attract most bidders were the site's close proximity to the Serangoon bus interchange and MRT station - an interchange for the North East and Circle lines - and the NEX mall, which is a regional shopping mall. It is also near several reputable schools, including Paya Lebar Methodist Girls Primary and Secondary schools, Maris Stella High and Nanyang Junior College.
CDL with the experience of having developed the Bartley Residences and Bartley Ridge is familiar with the area.
Apartments on the higher floors will likely enjoy great views across the landed housing enclave.
Forest Woods residents would enjoy the new development at nearby Bidadari, which is planned as a tranquil urban oasis. Positioned as a “Community in a Garden”, Bidardari will have a centrally-located 10ha Bidadari Park, which will connect to a Central Green Spine.
Part of the tree-lined Upper Aljunied Road (from Upper Serangoon Road to Vernon Park) will be converted into a heritage walk for pedestrians.
